With License Manager, much of the really clever stuff is done behind the scenes, automatically validating license entitlements, calculating upgrade and downgrade rights etc. But equally we realise that organizations need to be able to share the results of reconciliations both internally and externally.
That's why License Manager features a comprehensive suite of reporting options – both in its main Windows administration interface and also in a read-only Web interface that can be shared with authorized users across the network.

Pre-Configured Reports

Out of the box, License Manager features more than 20 pre-configured reports, designed to help you manage software and prove your Effective Licensing Position (ELP) to interested third parties. Standard reports include:

• Effective Licensing Position for Microsoft and all other vendors
• True-up reports
• Oracle server worksheets
• Software install inventory
• Downgrade summary
• Maintenance schedule

And much more … Practically every report you need on a regular basis has already been prepared for you.

Exporting Data

For times when more intricate data manipulation is required, data can easily be exported from License Manager in CSV format for use in other reporting solutions.
