VMware Licensing Update

Do you have instances of VMware deployed on processors over 32 cores?  VMware have announced changes to their licensing for such instances.  Starting 2nd April 2020 each processor license will cover up to 32 cores with additional CPU licenses required if you are running more than 32 cores within that processor.  In effect, If you have a processor which has more than 32 cores it could double the cost to license with these changes.

If you are concerned on how these changes may impact your organisation License Dashboard have a team of ITAM Consultants that can quantify the effect of the changes and give advice on optimisation to mitigate these changes moving forward.
